Kangaroo Island Yacht Club | Windsurfing in Kangaroo Island Council

New members of all ages always welcome. Come along and learn to sail at a friendly, family orientated club. Older sailors wanting to 'get back into it' will find it as a relaxed friendly club with great sailing and fun social nights.

The club is actively involved in junior training and in the promotion of junior sailors to compete at State and National regattas.

Racing Saturday afternoons during the sailing season, 2pm start.

State and National Titles have been conducted at the Club with visiting sailors enjoying the excellent sailing waters and superb club amenities.

The Kangaroo Island Yacht Club was founded in November 1961. The present Clubhouse was opened in 1978 and is open for Sat Sailing and hosts State & National Titles & Team Sailing Regattas. It is available for hire for weddings, parties, and meetings. It has a seating capacity for 87 persons and full capacity for 140 persons.
