The ‘Advanced-Beginners Programs' is meant for players who are not new to the game of basketball, but still have limited knowledge, skill, fundamentals and experience. These players are still learning how, when and where to properly perform and execute skills in trainings and games under pressure.
Our Academies are skilled based. We pride ourselves on getting our kids quality repetitions for the areas of their games that need improvement. Furthermore, once they have acquired &/or improved their skill sets, they must also learn how, when & where to apply these skills in game situations. We address these essentials too, through modified, purposeful games.
At Brooks Basketball Services our ‘No Kid Left Behind’ philosophy means we believe that ‘No Kid’ should miss out on sport, in particular basketball, due to financial challenges, a lack of coaching or low confidence and self-esteem.
Throughout our programs, we focus on ensuring that all kids are given a safe, positive and encouraging environment to have a go, maybe make mistakes, try to improve their skills and finally to grow in confidence, no matter what level they are currently playing in the game of basketball.

BEGINNERS PROGRAMS
Are designed for kids new to the game or recently started and have zero to low-level experience playing organized basketball in schools, clubs & social leagues.
Our ‘Beginners Programs’ are a great ‘Introduction’ to the game of basketball as ‘Newbies’ begin their journey of learning the basic fundamentals, skills and terminology of the game of basketball. Once they have passed this level they will graduate to the Advanced Beginners Program.
Players will be evaluated to ascertain their individual skill sets and put into either the ‘Beginners’ group or ‘Advanced-Beginners’ group for this academy.
