Our Advanced Academy is purposed for kids with a high level of experience playing organized basketball in leagues, clubs & tournaments. These kids own well-defined skills in one or multiple areas of the game while also possessing the physical and/or mental strengths that are essential to success. The advanced player is self-motivated to play & train 2-4 days per week and at times may train or practice twice in one day without hesitation. Advanced players are generally on the top team at their middle or high school, D1 or D2 clubs and have identified basketball as their primary sport.
Our Academies are skilled based. We pride ourselves on getting our kids quality repetitions for the areas of their games that need improvement. Furthermore, once they have acquired &/or improved their skill sets, they must also learn how, when & where to apply these skills in game situations. We address these essentials too, through modified, purposeful games.
At Brooks Basketball Services our ‘No Kid Left Behind’ philosophy means we believe that ‘No Kid’ should miss out on sport, in particular basketball, due to financial challenges, a lack of coaching or low confidence and self-esteem.
Throughout our programs, we focus on ensuring that all kids are given a safe, positive and encouraging environment to have a go, maybe make mistakes, try to improve their skills and finally to grow in confidence, no matter what level they are currently playing in the game of basketball.
