Our beginners camps are designed for kids who have played 0- 2 years of organized basketball. They are a great way to introduce the game of basketball and provide a fun filled day of basic skills & fundamentals.
Our age setting is 6 years old and up is just a guide on minimum age as beginner skill level can be all ages.
Our Camps are skilled based; basketball skills & life skills. We pride ourselves on teaching kids’ practical life skills through the game of basketball. Necessary skills like being on time, communicating with confidence, playing with energy & effort and showing resilience in the face of adversity. These skills will enable them to consistently perform the basic fundamentals needed in the game of life & basketball. We want them to walk away with better life & basketball skills that are used every day.
At Brooks Basketball Services our ‘No Kid Left Behind’ philosophy means we believe that
‘No Kid’ should miss out on sport, in particular basketball, due to financial reasons, a lack of coaching or low confidence and self-esteem.
Throughout our basketball programs, we focus on ensuring that all kids are given a safe, positive and encouraging environment to have a go, maybe make mistakes, try to improve their skills and finally to experience growth, no matter what level they are playing at
