Founded in 2000 by GM Keith Yates, Joong Do Kwan (JDK) aims to provide high-quality martial arts training in a safe and inclusive environment. Located in Nedlands, Perth, Western Australia, JDK is known for its progressive approach to traditional Taekwondo.

JDK follows the lineage brought out of Korea by GM Jhoon Rhee in the mid-1950s and installed into Southwestern USA. Under the leadership of GM Keith Yates and the American Karate and Taekwondo Organisation, JDK combines the rich history and traditions of Taekwondo with a modern and practical training methodology.
