Welcome to Jenny's School For Dogs in Greater Bendigo City. Jenny's School For Dogs offers classes and training conducted by a qualified and experienced instructor with over 20 years of knowledge and training. Whether you have a big or small dog problem, Jenny's School For Dogs is here to help.
At Jenny's School For Dogs, we offer a range of fun and serious competition training options. Our classes include agility/jumping, obedience, showing, basic tracking, and flyball. Our instructor has achieved titles such as Agility and Jumping dog Masters, Australian Supreme Champion, and Australian Grand Champion. In addition, our instructor has also trialled in UD obedience.
Jenny School For Dogs is also an experienced breeder of quality Dalmatians, with dogs from her kennel achieving over 70 titles in showing, obedience, and agility. Jenny is also a qualified ANKC obedience judge and conformation judge.
We offer one-on-one consultations with the owner, dog, and a qualified instructor by appointment 7 days a week. Consultations can take place at our Lockwood Dog Training Complex or in the comfort of your own home. We provide obedience training for all levels, from beginner to advanced, using positive and motivational methods. We are equipped to handle all types of dog behaviour issues, and all ages and breeds are welcome at our school.
Furthermore, we also offer group classes at various times throughout the year.
Our class fees are as follows: $70 for the initial consultation at Lockwood Dog Training Complex, $40 for any further consultations at Lockwood, $110 for the initial consultation in the dog's home, and $70 for any further consultations in the dog's home. We can also arrange training at an oval or another location. Group class prices start at $100 for a 4-week course.
In addition to our classes and training, we also have a fully fenced facility for Wednesday night advanced puppy and adult dog training classes. These classes run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and include walking on the lead correctly, reliable recall with distractions, advanced obedience commands (sit, drop, stand, stay), introduction to agility, and socialising. The classes are designed for the dogs in the class at the time and their unique needs. During the winter months, these classes are conducted under lights.
The next class begins on November 28th, 2012, and the cost is $100 for the 4-week course.
By popular demand, starting in December 2012, we will also be offering agility classes. These classes are suitable for dogs of all ages from 6 months old and up, as long as they are social around other dogs. The classes will cater to beginners through advanced levels and can be either for fun or competition. Group classes consist of 4–6 dogs per class and cost $120 for a 4-week course.
The classes will be held at our Dog Training Complex in Lockwood.
