Jeaden Calisthenics Club

Callisthenics is a sport designed to contribute to the physical and social development of girls and boys through social connexions, self-confidence, and teamwork. Teams are based on aged groups, with each team learning 4-7 routines/items each year. Each items is choreographed to music and presented at competitions and concerts with stage costuming and props.

In addition to team items, participants can also compete in solo and duo items.

Callisthenics is considered a sport as well as an art. From a sport perspective, callisthenics promotes physical fitness, coordination, self-discipline and team spirit. As an art, it develops an appreciation of music and rhythm, the beauty of correct technique and the joy of performing. View this YouTube video.
