Welcome to all players, coaches, parents, grandparents, and friends who are back for 2016 or new to Japara for the season of 2016.
We have a strong committee working for you, all passionate, committed members of Japara. All committee members have work commitments and I ask that if you need to contact us between 9. 00am – 5. 00pm please email or text, so we can get back to you when it is convenient.
Throughout the year parents are asked to do bench duty for their child’s team, a requirement of the LJBL is that two people from each club do this on each game, if you are new to the game or need help with the bench please advise the coach/manager of your child’s team, so we can arrange for someone to help you do your bench duty. It really isn’t as bad as it seems.
The aim of the 2016 season is for all players to develop their game, learn new skills and love the game of basketball. Whatever age group or division, win or lose, we need to be proud of what we achieve and what we achieve as a team and as a proud basketball club.
