The JRTC of A, Inc is the Developer of the Breed in Australia, Founded in 1972.
They are the Governing body when it comes to The Breed Standard, Hunting Code of Ethics, Breeder's and Member's Code of Ethics, Stud Reference, Studbook, Breeder's Directory - All put in place to keep the Breed as pure as possible and to protect the Standard as we now know it.
The Club has Member's all over Australia – even Tasmania.
The Club consists of a National Committee of : President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, a Public Officer, Membership Secretary, Studbook Secretary, Studbook Keeper, Library Officer, Web Site Manager and Magazine Editor – as well as 5 other Sitting Committee Members.
The Club has State Representatives throughout Australia : 9 in Victoria, 2 in South Australia and 3 in Western Australia.
