JaBaT Dance Inc was established in 2004 with the vision to promote excellence through Dance in both expression and technical ability. JaBaT are here to help your child pursue their love of dance. JaBaT teachers have a holistic approach to the students, nurturing not only their dance abilities and core strength but also self-confidence in a happy and rewarding environment.
At JaBaT we achieve distinction in dance by providing an Accredited syllabus. JaBaT offer Mid-Year Exams, participation in community events and showcase yearly a concert for the community to attend.
The Living Dance International syllabus is a whole package-not only aimed at teaching the students, but also furthers the teacher’s professional development in the most modern format thus keeping up with the creative times.
Our student base draws both young and old; we cater to dancers as young as 2 up to Adults.
The teachers we have, come to us with varying genre experience, one with over 40 years of dance and teaching experience on the world stage. We welcome this diversity as a requirement in the education of our students.
2014 saw some big changes for JaBaT. From doubling our student base, the addition of new genre’s, to entertaining 350 community members at our end of year performance. JaBaT are also proud to promote the career of our students, as we currently have one studying at The Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. At which she has been invited back again for 2015!
JaBaT Dance differs slightly from other dance schools. We are run by a committee of parents and are a NonProfit organistion. We are located in Port Hedland WA.
