Ipswich Kart Club Inc. is the top karting club in South East Queensland and one of the largest karting clubs in Australia. Established in 1958, the club is located in the heart of the Ipswich Motorsport Precinct on Champions Way in Willowbank. It is an affiliated associate member of Karting Australia Ltd.
While karting is a competitive sport, Ipswich Kart Club recognises that for many members, it is also a downtime activity on the weekends that fosters great bonds between families and friends. It provides an opportunity for members to compete with and against each other while enjoying quality time together. The club welcomes both male and female participants and believes in the equality of all competitors once they strap on their helmets.
In addition to karting, Ipswich Kart Club offers various ways for individuals to be involved with the club. Those who are not racing can become officials and contribute to the smooth running of the events. The club is committed to supporting its supporters and encourages members to check out its valued partners when looking for specific products or services.
The track at Ipswich Kart Club is available for practise from Wednesday to Sunday, excluding public holidays, race days, and come and try days. Practise fees are $25. 00 per day for IKC members and $40. 00 per day for non-members.
Control fuel, Premium 98, is available from the nearby Liberty fuel station in Yamanto.
Located approximately 30 to 45 minutes' drive west of Brisbane, Ipswich Kart Club welcomes anyone interested in karting to join the club and experience the fun, competitive, and family-oriented environment it provides. For more information on how to get involved, visit their website at www. Karting. net.
