International Goju Karate Gladstone Park

Gladstone park goju karate (GPGK) was established in 1996 and has since been following the tradition of goju karate which was introduced by Hanshi Tino Ceberano many decades ago under the name of International Goju Karate (IGK).

3rd Degree Black Belt and certified health and fitness coach, Fernando Sensei has over 23 years experience in martial Arts, and has been teaching both young children, teenagers and adults, and led many of them to attain Black belt and above.

Our mission is to give any one, young or old the opportunity to experience an Art that has been around for many centuries.

Through our experience in Martial Arts and health and fitness coaching, our goal is to teach karate at a level that is safe for all to try.

We endeavour to bring out each student’s potential, and why Martial Arts plays a large part in developing their hand and feet coordination, their awareness of surroundings, their self-defence skills and more important their self-belief.

Through each grading the student is able to see their growth of their Martial Arts skill and knowledge. The student is tested in their level of fitness, their knowledge in the various techniques and drills and their growth in sparring.
