Hunter Valley Ultra

Motiv Australia / Pont3, event organisers behind Australia’s largest Running Festival, have teamed up with Vlad Shatrov, Director of Runlab and one of Australia’s best distance runners, both on road and trail, to deliver The Hunter Valley Ultra.

Motiv’s mission is to be the world’s leading sport and entertainment participation experience company. The ever-growing Motiv portfolio includes sport and entertainment events across 4 continents and are already in the top 10 mass participation businesses in the world, with a steadfast commitment to becoming the leader.

The Motiv Australia / Pont3 portfolio includes the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival which boasts over 37,000 participants, the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10k & 5k (7,000 participants) and the Tasmanian Running Festival (1,500 participants).

The approach taken with all of their events is to first think about the participants, and what will create a unique, memorable and positive experience.

It is Motiv Australia’s / Pont3 objective to create iconic, fun, family friendly events in destination locations that will attract large numbers of trail fans and participants for a weekend away with the entire family.

2019 is the first running of The Hunter Valley Ultra, and we believe it will be seen as a must-do on the Trail Calendar.
