With over 55 years of experience, Hollands Swim School has been providing swimming lessons to children of all ages and abilities. Founded by Roy Holland, one of the first swimming teachers in Brisbane, the school has continued to prioritise swimming teaching as a serious business.

In 1993, Roy Holland retired and handed over the reins to his daughter, Cathy Holland, who has over 25 years of teaching experience. All the teachers at Hollands Swim School are certified by Austswim or Swim Australia and undergo extensive training on the school's teaching methods and structure developed by Cathy Holland.

Hollands Swim School is committed to building lifelong confidence and a love of water in its students. Through years of development, the school has implemented effective strategies, teacher training, and teaching methods to offer the best aquatic survival programmes. Students are graded and taught with others of similar age and ability, ensuring that they progress to the next level only when they have acquired the required skills. The school accepts students as young as 6 months old for their learn-to-swim programme and provides the facility for students to progress to competitive squad training.

To ensure that every child is a good fit for the programme, Hollands Swim School offers the first lesson as a free trial. This allows the school to assess the child's abilities, and parents are under no obligation to continue with the programme. There are no registration fees for the lessons.
