Hobart Archers is an active and inclusive sports club based in Hobart, Tasmania. The club offers a range of archery activities including outdoor target shooting, field shooting, and clout events. For beginners, Hobart Archers offers a beginners programme every Saturday morning. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn the basics of archery in a relaxed environment. Participants can also take part in the Oz Bow Australia Programme, which allows them to develop their shooting ability by aiming to achieve certain scores at different distances. Each time a score is achieved, participants receive a distance award on their Oz Bow Australia Certificate.
All equipment is supplied, and there is no need to book for these sessions. The cost is $25 per person or $60 for families (up to 5 family members).
Hobart Archers is affiliated with Archery Australia, the governing body of Archery in Australia. The club is also a member of the Archery Society of Tasmania (AST). These affiliations ensure that Hobart Archers adheres to the highest standards and regulations in the sport.
