

Hills Academy of Martial Arts is a renowned sports club located in Castle Hill, Sydney. Specialising in the arts of Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi Chuan, and Qi Gong, this traditional martial arts school offers a range of programmes aimed at providing confidence, self-defence skills, improved health and well-being, and development of martial arts skills and knowledge.

For children between the ages of 7 and 12, there is the Kids Shaolin Kung Fu programme. The Teens and Adults Shaolin Kung Fu programme caters to students aged 13 and above. It focuses on teaching the traditional Shaolin Kung Fu forms, while also imparting sparring, take-downs, joint locks, wrestling, and self-defence skills. Students can also opt to learn various weapons in the additional weapons class. Additionally, this programme offers training in Shaolin Qi Gong and Meditation to reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, and promote overall health and well-being.
The Academy often collaborates with other health professionals in the Hills District to promote health and well-being education.
Hills Academy of Martial Arts also offers a Tai Chi and Qi Gong programme for students aged 13 and above. Tai Chi is a slow and gentle exercise suitable for all ages. They teach a traditional Yang Style Tai Chi for beginners and also offer the Zhaobao He Tai Chi Chuan style for those interested in the martial arts side of Tai Chi. The Zhaobao He Tai Chi style, one of the oldest and original styles, has been passed down through generations in the Zhaobao village and is lesser-known but significant in Tai Chi history.
The programme also includes Qi Gong, which involves relaxed movements, stretching techniques, and meditative exercises to promote energy flow and improve overall health and well-being.
