Our club boasts a range of teams, including juniors, teenagers, teenage girls 7's, ladies 7's, and seniors, allowing everyone to participate and enjoy the sport of rugby.
Our mission at Highfields Redbacks is to promote fun, respect, integrity, and a love for rugby. We believe in providing a positive and supportive environment where players can develop their skills, form friendships, and enjoy the game. With a focus on core skills such as tackling, passing, catching, running, and kicking, our players gain confidence and minimise the risk of injury.
Under the guidance of our Head Coach, Onehunga Mata'uiau, a Level 3 Accredited Rugby Coach and former Samoan World Cup International, we offer a Rugby Skills Academy. This academy provides players with the opportunity to learn from a passionate and experienced coach who is dedicated to developing grassroots rugby. To ensure maximum participation, we offer various sessions and camps throughout the year.
