The club also organises various meets and competitions throughout the season. For example, Zone Entries are open for athletes to compete at The Ridge Athletics Track at Barden Ridge. Successful participants will progress to the Region 8 Meet and have a chance to qualify for the State meet at SOPAC.

When joining HLAC, families can expect weekly Friday night competitions held at Rex Jackson Oval in Helensburgh. The evening starts with a warm-up at 5:45 pm, followed by various athletics events. The club encourages all participants to strive to “Be your Best” and wishes everyone a successful and enjoyable season.
