Set in a secluded, and tranquil part of Maroondah, the Club is known locally as a 'hidden gem'. Widely admired for its stunning views of the Dandenong Ranges – and for having arguably the best bowling greens in Melbourne – the Club's motto is 'Amaroo', which is appropriately, an indigenous word for a 'beautiful place'.
