Gymnastics Moranbah Inc. Is a non-profit organisation that has been providing gymnastics activities for Moranbah and the surrounding district since 1988. The Club provides this coaching at our purpose built premises at the Recreation Reserve, via McCool Street entrance and currently has a registered membership in excess of 300 gymnasts.
Pregym - More structured than Kinderym this class is only open to those children old enough to attend Kindergarten. Children progress through 7 levels of basic gymnastics skills with most moving straight into Jungle Gym (Boys) or Pre levels (girls) the next year.
WHIPS – Beginner Gym Skills – Running through the same 7 levels as Pregym this class is for beginners. Gymnasts in this class generally progress quicker than the PreGym children and start learning Pre Levels skills from halfway through the year.
Jungle Gym – boys only recreational class. This is the stepping stone class to the Mens Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Levels Programme.
Mens Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Levels – MAG levels is a National Development Programme created by Gymnastics Australia. This is a Coach selected competitive class.
Pre Levels – Girls recreational class which is the stepping stone to the Womens Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Levels Programme.
Womens Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Level 1-3 – WAG Levels 1-3 is a State Development Programme created by Gymnastics Queensland. This is a coach selected competitive class.
Womens Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Level 4-7 – WAG Levels 4 -7 is a National Development Programme created by Gymnastics Australia. This is a competitive class and is coach selected. Gymnasts can only progress through these levels by attending sanctioned competitions and successfully passing level tests.
