The Gunnedah Motorcycle Club has been conducting Dirt Track meetings since the early 50s. The club has been actively promoting Dirt Track Racing both at the legendary Porcupine Circuit and the Balcary Park complex.
In 1982 the Gunnedah Motorcycle Club constructed a new track which was endorsed by the Gunnedah Shire Council. After three years and an enormous amount of hard work, the new GMCC track was developed, known today as Balcary Park.
