The Gundagai “Tigers” District Rugby League Football Club is an organisation which encourages participation and support of Rugby League in Gundagai and surrounding areas.
The Tigers strive every year to field the maximum 4 teams in the GROUP NINE(9) competition, a competition which forms part of the Riverina Division of the NSW Country Rugby League. The competition consists of 1st grade, Reserve Grade, under 18's and under 16's. Our competion is regarded as one of the most competitive in Country NSW.
Gundagai is a township which is nestled on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River in South West Slopes of NSW. It is a beautiful town that is accessed by the Hume Highway. Travellers often consider Gundagai as the halfway mark between Sydney and Melbourne.
Rugby League is the main winter sport of the area and our supporters are considered amongst the most loyal and dedicated. Our teams are considered amongst the best in the competition. Our local player base is drawn from a surrounding population of about 4,000 people.
Our club is best described as being competitive, professional, and enjoyable. We have a committment to all involved and our family atmosphere encourages long and loyal playing careers, capable administration, valued repeat sponsorship and community support.
