The GVKC was established in 1959, within years of the sport of Go Karting being introduced to the world, and is one of the oldest clubs in Australia. The facility is well known among the Karting community and the National & State events held at the facility are always well-supported and applauded for our ‘country’ atmosphere.
Our traditional, major event is the Australasian Kart Titles, to be run on the weekend of 14/15/16th September 2007. The Australasian Kart Titles is a prestigious event which attracts a quality entrants list of some 200 Go-Karters plus their crew, families and spectators, from most Australian states. The Australasian Kart Titles is nationally recognised and is the only Go-Karting event, outside the various State and National Titles, that offers a coveted Red number plate that is recognised and highly regarded among the Go-Karting fraternity.
