Every Friday, Gosford Little Athletics hosts various programmes and events for athletes of different age groups. For instance, on November 3rd, Programme 2 will include a Javelin competition for athletes aged U11 and above starting at 5:00pm. The club updates its programme regularly to offer a diverse range of events to the athletes. In Programme 1, which occurs in Week 1, there are Race Walking events for athletes aged U9 and above. These events begin at 5:30pm at the 1500m start line. For athletes aged U13 and above, the club offers 200m and 300m Hurdles, which will commence at 6:00pm.
Athletes participating in these events are advised to head straight to the designated start line and not to their first event.
In Programme 2, which takes place in Week 2, the club offers Javelin for athletes aged U11 and above, starting at 5:15pm. Athletes who wish to compete in Javelin must have their names recorded at the Javelin sector. Additionally, there is a 3 km run for athletes aged U13 and above, which will start at 5:45pm. Athletes competing in the 3 km run must have their numbers recorded at the finish line prior to the start time for lap counting.
After registering for lap counting, athletes can proceed to the 200m start line in preparation for the 5:45pm start.
It is important to note that spikes are only permitted for athletes in the U11 age group and older. Children in the U6 to U10 age groups are not allowed to wear spikes during competitions.
Furthermore, it is essential for parents to sign on with their child's age manager, track official, or canteen/bbq coordinator to have their assistance recorded towards their parent helper bond. Parents should ensure they have provided the athlete numbers of their children when signing on.

With 77 athletes participating, there have been 47 personal bests, 200 throws, 1303 metres thrown, 188 jumps, 404 metres jumped, and 400 runs covering a total of 133,778 metres.
