Goondiwindi Triathlon Club holds a mini-tri every Sunday during the triathlon season (October through March) at the Town Park, meeting at 7am for a 7. 30am start. Others train when they can – in group rides during the week and on weekends, informal running group and swimming squad at the Goondiwindi Town Pool. As the Hell of the West gets closer, this training ramps up to get people fit and race-ready.
The Hell of the West triathlon has been going for 25 years. It is hosted by the Goondiwindi Triathlon Club and held in the height of summer every year.
