Goolwa Hockey Club Inc is a sports club located in Victor Harbour – Goolwa, South Australia. The club welcomes new players of all skill levels and ages to join and be a part of our community.
At Goolwa Hockey Club, we value sportsmanship and honesty, and strive to create a supportive environment for all members. Our club offers training opportunities for players of all ages, starting from Under 10s, Under 14's, and Under 17's, all the way up to our senior Men's and Women's teams. We believe in hockey being a sport that the whole family can enjoy and participate in.
One of our main focuses is junior development, both on and off the field. We provide coaching and umpiring opportunities for our junior players, and encourage community involvement and club activities. Our club has produced numerous junior representatives in State teams and Association representative sides.
Over the years, Goolwa Hockey Club has achieved significant success, particularly with our juniors. In 2019, our Women's team brought home the A Grade premiership, and went on to win it again in 2021 and 2022, completing a Hat-Trick. We were unfortunately unable to compete in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Our training sessions take place on Wednesdays at the Goolwa Recreation Ground on Goyder Street. The timings are as follows: Under 14's from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, Under 17's from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, and Seniors from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
For player registration, we have an online registration form available on our website. We also appreciate sponsorship from businesses, and interested sponsors can contact us for more information.
