Goodna Little Athletics Club is a sports club located in Brisbane, Queensland. The aim of the club is to develop children of all abilities by promoting positive attitudes and a healthy lifestyle through family and community involvement in athletics activities.
The club runs competitions on Friday nights only, starting at 6pm. The programme for each night can be viewed on the menu bar to see what events are offered. Goodna Little Athletics caters for children aged between 3 and 17 years old.
To join the club, interested individuals can register online through the club's website. The club only accepts online registration. Upon registration, members will need to bring their registration email to the centre on a Friday competition night to finalise their registration and collect their registration numbers and club polos. New members are required to bring a birth certificate as proof of age.
For those who are not ready to commit just yet, the club offers a trial night option where children can attend for 2 nights at a cost of $10 per athlete per night. Should they decide to join after the trial, the trial fees will be deducted from the membership fees. It is important to note that once signed up, centre fees are non-refundable.
Goodna Little Athletics Centre is registered for the Get Started Vouchers programme, which provides eligible children and young people aged 5 to 17 with a voucher valued at up to $150 for membership and/or registration fees. It should be noted that vouchers are issued on a first come, first served basis, so there is no guarantee of obtaining a voucher. The club's competitions take place at Evan Marginson Sporting Complex on Woogaroo Street in Goodna. The complex offers a family-friendly environment where families can enjoy fun and fitness together.
