Gold Coast Little Athletics, part of the Gold Coast Athletics Club, has been offering athletics opportunities to the community for almost 50 years. Established in 1973, our club is dedicated to promoting positive attitudes and developing children of all abilities through the sport of athletics. We are committed to creating a social atmosphere that welcomes athletes of all ages and abilities.
Our club caters to individuals from the ages of 5 to open elders, providing a recreational activity that promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. Whether you are an experienced athlete or new to the sport, our fully qualified experts offer coaching to help participants learn and develop athletic skills. We offer coaching through Athlete Development Sessions as well as squad training, led by our accredited coaches who are affiliated with Australian Track & Field Coaches Association.
One of the unique aspects of our club is the emphasis we place on creating a family-friendly and fun environment. We believe that this social atmosphere is a vital asset for our athletes, as it fosters a sense of belonging and support. We strive to make athletics accessible and enjoyable for all, regardless of age or ability.
In addition to recreational activities, we also provide opportunities for more aspirational participants to gain competitive experience. Our club aims to support athletes who wish to compete at the Australian Athletics Championships, recognising and celebrating the achievements of all participants.
