There is rarely a professional production in TV or Theatre that does not include performers trained at GY DANCE. Students receive training in technique classes by a fully qualified staff, including examiners in both A. D. A formally FATD) jazz and tap, and RAD Classical Ballet.
‘Open’ dance classes are taught by some of Sydney’s most sought after choreographers and Commercial performers who are keen to pass on their skill and experience in the Entertainment Industry to our pupils. All staff are dedicated in training students to become professional performers themselves.
Glenda Yee also offers an ELITE training programme to further extend talented dancers.
The school takes pride in preparing students for any upcoming auditions in Musical Theatre or TV, as well as auditions for AGENCY representation, to take on a career in commercial dance.
Glenda also offers a complete TEACHER TRAINING COURSE for those students who wish to receive DIPLOMA QUALIFICATIONS and REGISTRATION into the Australasian Dance Association, with the potential of operating their own studios one day.
Glenda Yee is a qualified School Teacher (Dept. Education NSW), as well as a Dance Examiner in Jazz, Tap, and Classical Ballet in the A. D. A.
(Australasian Dance Association, formally known as Federal Association of Teachers of Dance) method.
