Ginninderra Netball Club is a sports club located in the Belconnen area of Canberra. - Seniors (Opens): Individuals aged 16 and above, including women.
- Cadets and Mixed Cadets: 16-18 year olds (Years 10-12).
- Intermediates and Mixed Intermediates: 13-15 year olds (Years 7-9).
- Juniors: 11-12 year old boys and girls (Years 5 and 6).
- GO: 9-10 year old girls and boys.
- SET: 7-8 year old boys and girls.
Registration for non-playing coaches and umpires will open at a later date, and there is no registration fee for these individuals. All players are required to wear the club's designated uniforms, and additional information can be obtained through the Contact Us section of the website.
For younger players aged 5–6 years, Ginninderra Netball Club recommends the Net Skills Programme offered by the Belconnen Netball Association (BNA). The BNA can be reached at 02 6258 4794 or through their website: https://www. Belconnennetball. com.
au/. Registration and payments for the programme must be completed directly through the BNA.
The club also offers the SET and GO tiers, which are designed for children who have completed the Net Skills Programme or are new to netball. The SET tier is tailored to 7-8 year olds and incorporates modified rules, smaller goal posts, and a smaller ball to facilitate learning and skill development without a competitive element. The GO tier, on the other hand, is suitable for 9-10 year olds and features modified netball rules with full-sized goal posts and a smaller ball. These tiers aim to accommodate players with previous experience.
