Affiliated with Dogs SA Inc, which is the Local Controlling Body member of the Australian National Kennel Council, the club is dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership through education and training.

At the Gawler Dog Training Club, dog owners have the opportunity to socialise with other owners and allow their dogs to socialise with each other.
