Frankston High School

Frankston High School is a prestigious sports club located in Melbourne, Australia. As the school celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2024, it reflects on its rich history and looks forward to an exciting future.

The school is currently undergoing campus upgrades, with a focus on enhancing the learning environment for students in Years 7-10. The demolition of old buildings has made way for open landscaped areas, creating a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing space. A new two-story admin and learning block will be the centrepiece of the school, improving access and providing a seamless transition for students from Junior to Senior campus. Additionally, the STEM building is being extended to include a new Food Technology area, catering to the diverse interests of the student body.

The temporary location of the library on the STEM Mezzanine level offers students a stunning view of Port Phillip Bay, making learning a truly immersive experience. Once the Admin building is complete, the old Admin area will be transformed into a modern and vibrant library.

Frankston High School also offers individuals the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy by sponsoring a seat in the Performing Arts Theatre (PAT). For a donation of $300, sponsors can dedicate a seat to a loved one or organisation, with an attractive brass plate displaying their name attached to the seat. This contribution not only allows students to benefit from a state-of-the-art facility, but also fosters a sense of community and pride.

Known as the premier school on the Mornington Peninsula, Frankston High School consistently achieves outstanding VCE results. Year after year, more of its students rank in the top 10% statewide, a testament to the school's commitment to academic excellence. Enrolment at Frankston High School is done through a process facilitated by the Department of Education and Training (DET).
