Forest Killarney FC School Holiday Football Camp (Week 2)

Forest Killarney Football Club will be hosting School Holiday Football Camps and Clinics on the all-weather fields at Melwood Oval during the Spring school holidays in October 2019!

The objective of Forest Killarney School Holiday Camps is to provide a fun and engaging opportunity for children to learn new football skills and techniques. The camps will focus on different techniques to help develop core skills. Our drills are fun based but progressively linked to the FFA 4 core factors of skill acquisition that improve ability to first touch, 1v1, running with and striking the ball.

In addition to the skills being learnt, participants will be provided with the opportunity to practice their skills in small-sided games. The day will generally include a number fun soccer related games.

Our task is to make sure that all players achieve even time on the ball and have fun in equal measure. We aim to balance the intensity of instruction and demonstrative coaching with less intensive periods of free play and fun based gameplay using skills learnt.

EXTENDED CARE

In support of working parents, early sign-in is available from 8.15am for all attendees, as well as extended care to 5:30pm for full-day camp attendees.

DISCOUNTS
* Bookings for 5 or more days of Full Day FKFC camps will receive a 10% discount.
* There is also a 10% discount for siblings booked on the same day for Full Day camps.
* Discounts apply only to Full Day camps.  If a clinic is purchased with a Full Day camp, the discount is applied only to the camp portion, not to the separate clinic. Please contact the Event Manager at events@fkfc.com.au for the appropriate Promotional Codes to use for these discounts.

Wet weather

In the event of heavy rain the club house will be used for indoor soccer related activities. Melwood is an all-weather playing field so participants are able to use the fields in light rain, please ensure your child brings a suitable rain jacket.
