Forest Baseball Club prides itself on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages. With a strong emphasis on skill development and teamwork, the club aims to foster a love for the sport while also promoting values such as sportsmanship and fair play.
One of the highlights of Forest Baseball Club is the Forest Futures programme, which is specifically designed for the club's youngest players. This skills programme, held at Aquatic Reserve, allows children to learn the fundamentals of baseball in a fun and supportive environment. With approximately 100 participants, Forest Futures is a great way for children to get involved in the sport from a young age.
In addition to the regular Saturday competitions, Forest Baseball Club also offers a Wednesday night competition option called the Intermediate League. This league is targeted towards children aged 12 and 13, with the possibility of accepting additional registrations from 11-year-olds and 14-year-olds. The Intermediate League provides an opportunity for players to further develop their skills and compete in a midweek competition.
Forest Baseball Club is also proud to announce the recent canteen upgrade, funded in part by a grant from the NSW Government. With new cupboards, benchtops, tiles, plumbing, and lighting, the canteen now offers an improved facility for players and visitors to enjoy. This upgrade has been a collaborative effort, with various local businesses and volunteers contributing to the project's success.
