About

Flinders University Fencing Club is a dynamic and inclusive sports club located in Adelaide, South Australia. The club aims to promote the sport of fencing and provide a welcoming space for individuals of all ages and skill levels to participate and enjoy the sport.

Operating on Wednesday evenings during school terms from 7 PM to 9 PM, Flinders University Fencing Club invites anyone aged 8 and above to join them for a fun-filled session at the Sheidow Park Primary School gym. Access to the gym is available through Alkira Rd.

All necessary equipment, including fencing gear, is provided by the club, ensuring that participants have everything they need to engage in the sport safely.

For those interested in trying out the sport before committing, Flinders University Fencing Club offers “Come 'n' Try” sessions. To book one of these sessions, individuals can simply send a message to the club's Facebook page. It is recommended to bring a water bottle, sneakers, and track pants when attending a session.

As a club that always looks to expand and improve, Flinders University Fencing Club welcomes sponsors and tax-deductible donations through their Australian Sports Foundation project. By supporting the club, sponsors can contribute to the growth and development of fencing in the local community.

Flinders University Fencing Club is also open to organising special events or providing a series of lessons for community groups or schools. Those interested in arranging such activities can contact the club for further information.
