Fairfield Hotspurs is committed to maintaining a strong sense of community and recently held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Smithfield Park. The AGM was open to all and provided an opportunity for members to discuss club matters and voice their opinions.
The club has recently celebrated the achievements of several teams. The U12 Div4 and U13 Div3 teams were runner-up Grand Finalists, showcasing their talent and hard work. The U12 Div2 team also made it to the Knockout Grand Final after winning all four matches. The U13 Div3, U12 Div4, and U15 Div1 teams also achieved commendable results throughout the season.
Fairfield Hotspurs values its players, coaches, managers, parents, and supporters who have contributed to making it a successful season. The club holds a Presentation Day where trophies can be collected, and all are welcome to attend.
The club also takes the time to remember and honour those who have passed. Glen McGregor, a long-time member and volunteer of Fairfield Hotspurs Sports Club, recently passed away after a battle with cancer. His dedication and passion for the game and his advocacy for players will be greatly missed by the club.
