Fairfield Bulls Soccer Club Inc was formed in 1971 by group of Assyrian immigrants who were trying to establish some sporting and social activities in the Sydney suburb of Fairfield. From the early stages of its formation Fairfield Bulls has been linked with the Assyrian Australian Association (AAA) and later on with Nineveh Club. In November 1971 the Assyrian Australian Association after taking the team under its wings, applied for affiliation with Southern Districts Soccer Football Association (SDSFA). On Tuesday 25th of January 1972 two teams were officially accepted to compete in the SDSFA, ALL AGE division 2 and division 4.
The two teams were simply known as THE ASSYRIANS and hence Fairfield Bulls Soccer Club was OFFICIALLY formed.
