Established in 1953 by a group of volunteer serving personnel, Fairbairn Golf Club has evolved from a six-hole course with sand greens to the outstanding 18-hole course it is today. In 1998, the club was renamed the ADF Golf Club before becoming Fairbairn Golf Club Incorporated in 2004. We are grateful for the formal lease (The Defence Licence) negotiated in 2010, which grants us secure tenure for seven years.
We operate under the 'Associations Incorporation Act 1991' and adhere to a formal Constitution, overseen by an elected board. While we cherish our heritage as a volunteer-driven club, we have embraced the need for self-sustainability and have fostered a sense of community through occasional working bees and the organisation of events.
We invite you to join Fairbairn Golf Club and become part of our vibrant and inclusive golfing community. Enjoy the challenge of our renowned course, socialise with fellow golf enthusiasts, and experience the warm hospitality offered by our dedicated staff.
