Epping Bullets Swimming Club started in 1996 with just 20 members and has enjoyed a constant growth since then and continues to attract new members. We welcome swimmers of all ages with current swimmers aged from 3 years to over 50 years. Our club swims throughout the year every Friday night, Winter and Summer, at 7. 00pm at the bush setting of Epping Aquatic Centre, Stanley Street, Epping.
Our pool is 50m and heated to 26 degrees C throughout the year. We are one of the few Clubs who swim outdoors and over 50m during Winter.
Our Friday nightclub race nights are generally handicap events, which we believe gives all swimmers an equal chance in all races and encourages their competitive skills. Friday night races are in all strokes and distances from 25m to 800m. We have a set programme for the year. We enjoy the social side of swimming as well as races.
Our Club swimmers compete at all levels, from Club to District (Sydney Metro North West) and Open carnivals to Metropolitan, State and National levels. We also swim Open Water and Aussi Masters.
We always welcome new members at any time of the year, who like to swim outdoors in the fresh air.
