Encounter Bay Football Club, established in 1921, is a prominent sports club located in Victor Harbour-Goolwa, South Australia. The club is a proud member of the Great Southern Football League and has a rich history in the local sports community.
The club offers various training sessions for different age groups and skill levels. Junior Colts (Under 14s) have training on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 pm from Thursday, 17th February. Mini and Moddies (Under 9s and Under 12s) have training on Thursdays at 4 pm from 24th February. Senior Colts, A & B grades, and Women's Open & Under 17s have training sessions on different days and times.
Encounter Bay Football Club takes pride in its coaching team. For the year 2022, the senior coaching team includes Scott Wendelborn as the Senior Coach and Jamie Davis as the Reserves Coach. The junior coaching team includes Tom Pearsons (Senior Colts), Ollie Price (Junior Colts), and Simon Schwartz & Tony Modra (Moddies).
The club emphasises the safety and well-being of its members and has implemented policies regarding illegal drugs, alcohol management, safe transport, smoking, and anti-bullying. All members are advised to check the club information section for the latest policies.
Encounter Bay Football Club offers membership packages for the year 2022. Senior Player membership is priced at $200 and includes a member's card, gate pass for home games, members' sticker, and entry in members' draw. Women's Open membership is priced at $60 and includes a members' sticker. There is no charge for under-age girls.
Senior Colts membership is priced at $100, Junior Colts membership at $80, and Mini's Moddies membership at $75.
General/Social Membership is priced at $110 and includes a member's card, gate pass for home games, members' sticker, two complimentary Saturday night meals, and two complimentary drinks.
