Welcome to Edge Taekwondo - Helensvale, a friendly sports club located in the Gold Coast area of Queensland, Australia. We offer quality taekwondo training in the Jidokwan tradition, focusing on a balance of traditional techniques, practical self-defence, and modern competition strategies.

Our club follows the WT (World Taekwondo) style and welcomes students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, we have classes available in group settings and individual sessions. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to teaching tournament skills, self-defence techniques, traditional forms, and demonstration skills.

Located at the Helensvale Community Centre on 31 Discovery Drive, Helensvale, our club offers convenient class schedules to accommodate busy lifestyles. Currently, we have classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays facilitated by our talented instructors, Alan and Brett. The Tuesday classes run from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, while the Thursday classes have an additional session from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Edge Taekwondo - Helensvale is proud to be a part of the wider community, and we also have various locations throughout the Gold Coast and in other areas such as Brisbane and Charters Towers. This allows our members to attend classes at the venue nearest to them. Some of our other Gold Coast locations include Arundel, Southport, Mount Nathan, and Upper Coomera.

At Edge Taekwondo, we appreciate the importance of family and community support. We aim to provide an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere for all our members, especially for new students who may be joining us for the first time. Our instructors are all accredited under the National Accreditation Scheme, ensuring high-quality training and guidance for our students. Additionally, all members of Edge Taekwondo are fully insured, and our club is a member of Australian Taekwondo Queensland.
