

Drysdale Hawks Football Club, located in Drysdale – Clifton Springs, is a prominent sports club that holds a vital position within its local communities. With a strong focus on providing an exceptional football environment, the club supports over 500 local footballers, including 400 participants in various under-age programmes.
The Drysdale Hawks Senior team is known for its competitiveness in the Bellarine Football League. Having achieved back-to-back premiership wins in 2009 and 2010, the Senior team continues to showcase its strength and determination on the field.
The club also has a proud history of supporting female football in the Geelong region. In fact, Drysdale Football Club was one of the pioneers in female football, fielding its first team in 2010 in the Youth Girls competition. In 2015, the club was among the first three to establish a Junior Girls U12 league. Furthermore, in 2017, Drysdale became the first club in the Bellarine to introduce a Senior Women's Team, which competes in the Ballarat Goldfields league.
The club also participates in the Senior Women's, U12's, U14's, U16's, and U19 AFL Barwon competitions.
Youth Football holds a special place at Drysdale Football Club. With a focus on developing young footballers both on and off the field, the club recognises the unique needs of these players as they transition into young adulthood. As a result, the club has established a separate division called Youth Football to cater to their specific requirements.
For juniors, Drysdale Football Club fields teams in the Geelong Junior Football League across age groups from U9 to U16. With over 300 boys and girls actively participating in these sections and an additional 100 engaging in Auskick, the club provides a nurturing environment for young players to develop their skills and love for the game.
To further engage children with Australian Football, Drysdale Hawks Football Club is proud to be a part of the NAB AFL Auskick programme. This programme offers an inclusive and safe space for kids aged 5-12, regardless of their knowledge or ability, to learn and enjoy Australian Football.
