The Infant Swimming programme is designed for children between 4 months and 2 ½ – 3 years, introducing them to the water through games and songs. The Learn to Swim programme focuses on building relaxation in the water and developing primary skills. The programme consists of six levels, with swimmers progressing and developing new skills as they advance through each level.
Safety skills are also an important component of every lesson.
For those looking to improve their swimming strokes, the Stroke Development programme is available. This programme has three levels based on ability, focusing on developing correct technique and endurance as strokes and skills are added in each level.
Deep Blue Aquatics is located at 12 Eucalyptus Ave in Southside, Gympie. The facility features a 25m indoor teaching pool heated to 32. 5 degrees Celsius all year round, change rooms, hot showers, off-street parking, an aqua shop, and a café that serves coffee, drinks, and snacks. All instructors at Deep Blue Aquatics hold multiple Austswim teaching qualifications, Qld Child Safety “Blue Cards,” as well as CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications.
