Darwin & Districts Darts Association is one of Darwin's longest running darts associations in the NT. Our Association caters for the professional, intermediate and novice players in a friendly environment. We are affiliated with the NT Darts Council and play in accordance with World Darts rules and regulations. So whilst we nurture, encourage and foster the games of darts in a friendly environment – we do take it seriously.
We have players who are highly ranked in the Australian circuit, and we have players who are novices.
DDDA competition nights are Tuesday nights with play commencing at 7:30pm.
We are a multiple venue competition – currently we have teams playing out of Tracy Village Sports Club, Nightcliff Sports Club, Palmerston Golf Club, Globies Pub in Darwin.
The competition is 4-a-side teams and is handicapped – which means that everyone is in with a chance no matter how good or bad you play. The format for 2014 is doubles, singles (one leg against everyone in the opposing team), and a teams game.
We have some Fun Nights scheduled prior to season 1 commencement on the 21st Jan, 28th Jan, 4th Feb.
Fun nights would be a good opportunity for you to come down and meet the players, so I would highly recommend that you come. Fun Nights are held at Tracy Village Sports Club, with game play commencing at 7:30pm each week. It may be a good idea to come down a bit earlier, say 7pm, so you have a chance to meet the players before playing.
