The course is located 12 km east of the small town of Cummins which has around 750 people. The clubhouse is 300m along a dirt/gravel road. The course is approximately 140-150m above sea level in the hills between Cummins and Tumby Bay.
There are 18 black soils with a natural but mostly dry creek running across the course. Most holes are tree-lined with a few doglegs.
