The Coomera Magpies Junior Australian Football Club (CMJAFC) is a community-based sports club located in Gold Coast, Queensland. It is a not-for-profit organisation that is run entirely by volunteers and parents of its junior participants. The main focus of CMJAFC is to provide a safe and supportive environment for young footballers to learn and play the game.
With a strong emphasis on family and community, CMJAFC places greater value on participation and fun rather than on winning or losing. The club aims to instil the values of sportsmanship, fun, participation, and respect in its players. Additionally, CMJAFC promotes a healthy and active lifestyle among its junior participants, as well as a love for Australian Rules Football.
CMJAFC offers teams for boys and girls across various age groups, ranging from Under 6's to Under 16's for boys, and in 2019, they began fielding girls teams in the Under 11's, Under 13's, Under 15's, and Under 17's age groups. The club welcomes anyone who is interested in joining their football family and encourages participation from all.
The 2018 executive committee of CMJAFC comprises dedicated individuals who work to oversee and manage the club's operations. The coaching staff, led by experienced coaches, focuses on developing the skills and talents of the young players.
To keep everyone updated throughout the season, CMJAFC has dedicated Facebook pages for each team, as well as a main Juniors page. These pages provide the latest news, fixtures, and other team information.
If you are interested in supporting CMJAFC during the season, they welcome volunteers and sponsors. For more information or to register for the 2019 season, please visit their website or contact them directly.
