The Golf Club at Cohuna is located in the Loddon Murray Region of Victoria, Australia. The home course of Australian professional golfer Stuart Appleby, the Cohuna Golf & Bowls Club has been magically carved out of the Gunbower forest along the banks of the Gunbower Creek, a major tributary of the Murray River in Northern Victoria.
Originally sand, the Murray River Golf Course at Cohuna was transformed to grass greens in the 1970s. Well treed, the course comprises 18 manicured holes uniquely situated on Australia’s largest inland island. Kangaroos and Murray River bird life share these renowned faireyecatcher membershipways amongst the tall red gum and box forest trees.
