Located in the Berrigan Shire Council, Cobram Barooga Auskick Centre is a sports club committed to introducing kids to the excitement of Australian Football through the NAB AFL Auskick programme. As Australia's leading participation programme, Auskick provides children with the opportunity to get active, develop invaluable life skills, and form lasting friendships.
The Cobram Barooga Auskick Centre offers game-based activities that children love, disguising learning as play. Kids can start Auskick in the calendar year they turn 5, and no previous experience with Aussie Rules is required. Parents are encouraged to get involved as well, with plenty of options for participation.
Sessions at Cobram Barooga Auskick Centre are a mix of organised chaos and perfect fun. To ensure safe and fair play, Auskickers are divided by age, and all-girls groups are available as an option. Children will benefit from getting comfortable on the footy field while laughing, learning, and becoming more active and confident. Sessions run for just one hour per week, and there's no need for expensive kit – children can wear whatever they feel comfortable in.

And the chance to play halftime at AFL and AFLW elite matches alongside their footy heroes.
Parents are an essential part of the NAB AFL Auskick experience as well. From coordinating to offering encouragement, families are encouraged to get involved and contribute to the fun and inclusive environment of the programme. Local Auskick coordinators are available to provide more information on how parents can participate.
