Situated in the picturesque Dial Range Recreational Reserve, the club's track is conveniently located just 7 kilometres from Penguin. The proximity to the highway ensures quick and easy access for both riders and spectators.
With a rich history of hosting national championships and major events, Coastal Motocross Club has firmly established itself as a leading destination for motocross enthusiasts. In the years 1999, 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2007, the club successfully conducted rounds of the National Championships, with the 2002 and 2003 rounds even being voted as the best in the series by competitors.
In 2015, Coastal Motocross Club had the privilege of hosting the final day of the Australian 4 Day Enduro, further solidifying its reputation as an exceptional venue for high-profile motocross events. The club also welcomed the Australian Junior Motocross Championship in 2018, with 250 riders from Tasmania, interstate, and even international destinations such as New Zealand and Thailand participating in the thrilling event. This championship not only proved to be a resounding success for the club but also provided a much-needed boost to the local economy.
