Clifton Hill Cricket Club was established in 1967 and has a long history of success. The club is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place for players of all levels to join. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, there is a team for you at CHCC.
The club offers a comprehensive junior programme with seven teams available for both boys and girls. The programme focuses on participation, skill development, teamwork, and building fitness. For younger players, the club also runs the popular Cricket Blast programme on Sunday mornings, providing a fun introduction to cricket for children under eight years old.
In recent years, Clifton Hill Cricket Club has made great strides in promoting female participation in local cricket. The club now boasts two senior women's teams and a full programme for girls of all ages. This has been instrumental in creating an inclusive and diverse cricket community at CHCC.
For senior players, there are six men's teams and two veterans' teams to choose from. The club also has two senior women's teams, including a T20 team. With such a variety of teams available, players of all abilities can find their place at Clifton Hill Cricket Club.
The club's facilities are located at Ramsden Oval, on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people. CHCC acknowledges and respects the significant contributions made by First Nations peoples to the community.
